Homework
All homework must be completed neatly and handed in on time, with all work shown.
Late homework will not be accepted. Please label each assignment with the following:
name, date, sequence, and the assignment. **Homework assignments are posted on
Edline on the date they are assigned. Homework is due the next class period, unless
otherwise indicated.
Classroom Rules
1. Come to class prepared, listen carefully, and follow directions.
2. Be in your assigned seat when the bell rings.
3. Show respect for the feelings and property of others.
4. Raise your hand and wait for permission to speak.
5. Follow all school rules and policies as stated in the handbook.
Absences
It is the responsibility of the student to obtain, complete, and turn in any missed
assignments. If the student is present on a day an assignment is given and absent on the
day it is due, she will be expected to turn in that work on the day of her return (even
when the return is not on a scheduled day of class).
Students who are absent on the day of a quiz/test will be required to take the quiz/test
immediately upon their return to school (even when the return is not on a scheduled day
of class). These will not be made up during class time. Arrangements must be made to
make up the quiz/test before or after school.
Students who are absent the class before a test are still responsible for taking the test on
time. (Extreme circumstances may warrant an extension.)
Failure to make up missed assignments, quizzes, and tests will result in a grade of zero
points.
Academic Integrity
All work must be shown for every assignment, quiz, and test. Cheating in any form will
not be tolerated. Ladywood policy will be followed for students cheating on any
assignment, quiz, or test.
iPads
Ladywood policy regarding iPads will be followed at all times. iPads are to be used at
the discretion of the teacher and for educational purposes only.
All policies in the Ladywood Handbook will be enforced.
