Currently, English has become the most important language in the world.
There are many people who need to learn English. Therefore, I think it is important
to learn English since its grammar, writing, and speaking are easy to learn.
First of all, English grammar is not to difficult to memorize. For example,
English has fewer grammar tenses. English has twelve grammar tenses, but
Spanish has seventeen. Moreover, English has fewer verbs conjugations than
other languages, instead of having a conjugation for each person English has the S
or ES end for third persons only. What is more English has fewer vocabulary. A
simple word can mean many things.
Then, the writing in English is simple. For instance, punctuation is not
difficult to learn English has fourteen punctuation marks and other languages like
Spanish have sixteen or even more. Furthermore, there are specific types of
writing such as Expository, Descriptive, Narrative, Persuasive, and Creative writing.
Besides, in English writing you can omit words or make contractions, there are not
many (or maybe none) languages who can make contractions like in English.
Finally, also the speaking in English is not to complex. To illustrate this point,
there is not written accent in English as with languages like Spanish, Portuguese or
French. Even more, like in the writing you can make contractions in speaking
English, so speak becomes easy to learn. Last but not least, you can omit words at
speaking English hence you can use fewer words at the time to speak.
In summary, English is an easy language to learn due to its skills. If you do
not learn English, you may be disconnected of the world.
