Smkn 1 Temayang berdiri mulai tahun 2005,

mempunyai luas lahan sekitar 2 hektar, dan sampai
dengan sekarang sudah berdiri sekitar 23 bangunan
yang terdiri dari 17 RKB; 1 bangunan besar u/ bengkel
jurusan Teknik Elektronika Industri, Kria Keramik dan
Teknik Kendaraan Ringan; 1 lab komputer; 1 kantor
guru dan TU; Mushola; Kamar mandi; tempat parkir;
dan Perpustakaan.
Sejak berdiri sampai sekarang Smkn 1 Temayang telah
berkembang dengan cepat, hal ini ditandai dengan
jumlah siswa yang semakin tahun semakin banyak dan
jumlah lulusan yg juga telah terserap banyak di dunia
kerja.

Misi :
1. Menumbuhkan semangat keunggulan dan
kompetitif secara intensif pada seluruh warga
sekolah.
2. Melaksanakan kegiatan belajar mengajar secara
optimal.
3. Menumbuhkan penghayatan terhadap ajaran
agama yang dianut dan budaya bangsa sebagai
sumber kearifan dalam bertindak.
4. Mengembangkan dan mengintensifkan hubungan
sekolah dengan DU/DI dan institusi lain
5. Menerapkan manajemen pengelolaan
mengacu/menghadapi standart ISO 9001/2000
dengan melibatkan seluruh warga sekolah dan
stakeholder
