Package Ship

Description

Introduction

Package Ship:

Is used to move the loads, JCL elements and/or DBRMs created in the
Plymouth environment to the Southbury Production environment.

Consists of building and then submitting the Shipment request.

To Ship a Package:

Type 6 on the command line of the Package Options screen.

Type in the appropriate Package ID.

Press the Enter key.

The following screen will be displayed:

Building a
Shipment
Request

To build a Shipment Request:

Type 1 on the command line.

Type the Destination ID in the Destination field or leave blank for a list.

Type P in the PACKAGE/BACKOUT field. Backout is used only if a

Package has already been successfully shipped.

Press the Enter key.

The following Confirm Shipment screen will display:

to Destination D7@@ALL

PKG/BACKOUT ===> PACKAGE

To complete the Confirm Shipment screen:

Type SH on the command line.

Press the Enter key.

Endevor will return you to the Destination Selection List screen and display
the following message:
SHIPMENT REQUEST QUEUED

Submitting the
Shipment
Request

To submit the Shipment Request:

Type 3 on the command line.

Press the Enter key.

Navigate to the SDSF Hold queue and insure that the request produces
return codes of 0000.
