Teachers on Call data and decision making

May 2014 = 79% fill rate (4197 jobs)


May 2015= 87% fill rate (4781 jobs)
Monitoring of the data: view, track, and analyze: the daily fill rate, the number and percentage
of those jobs filled within 24 hours or less notice, monthly comparisons of jobs filled this year
and last school year, look at three month trends, since we only have two years of data at this
point.
Conclusion: The strategy of contracting with Teachers on Call and requesting advanced
assigned subs on a daily basis increased the fill rate from last spring to this spring. The
refinement of this strategy is worth continuing to analyze. The goal of 90-100% fill rates is still
being pursued.
Next steps: determine that number of advanced assignments to request daily from Teachers on
Call. The risk factor needs to be determined using the number of advanced assigned subs that
were utilized in ratio to the number that were not utilized on a daily basis and track this over
time. The number of unfilled jobs compared to the number of advanced assigned subs needs to
be considered as well. This will allow us to make a cost effective prediction in determining
