CREATING PLACES OF CHANGE

WHAT PLACES HAVE CHANGED YOUR LIFE? Where did you learn to ride a bike? Meet your best friend?
Fall in love? Experience a loss? Make a comeback? Encounter God?
100 Fold Studio creates places of change to demonstrate the love of Jesus. Our work focuses on developing
nations where the Christian population is often less than three percent.

PLACES OF

CREATING

We provide a platform for architects

and professionals to use their creativity
and expertise to multiply the impact of
Christ-centered organizations.

We create places that are safe, efficient

and inspiring. We design educational
campuses as a strategic way to share
Biblical principles within a nation.

CHANGE

Each campus provides a life-changing

environment for individuals to learn
about Jesus and to be equipped to
transform their communities.

WE INVITE YOU to change peoples lives - now and for eternity. 100 Fold Studio connects you with organizations already
making an impact in countries like Cambodia, Israel and Nepal. Their ability to affect additional lives is limited by the need
for effective spaces and buildings. 100 Fold Studio guides these ministries through complex design decisions so that they
can efficiently steward their resources, plan for future expansion and stay focused on transforming lives and nations for
Gods glory.

CAMBODIA : A CASE FOR CHANGE

CHINA
VIETNAM

MYANMAR

LAOS

THAILAND

POPULATION: 15+ Million

CAMBODIA

MAJOR RELIGION: Buddhism

CHRISTIAN POPULATION: 3.2%

97% of Cambodia is unreached with the news of Jesus.

Due to the Khmer Rouge genocide, 80% of the population is
under 30 years old. By reaching and serving the youth, it is
possible for the nation to be transformed for Jesus in ONE
generation. The University of the Nations in Battambang works
to promote change through evangelism, discipleship and
community development.
The new campus is located in the heart of the second largest city
in the country and will offer free vocational training for over 1,000
youth daily. The project will expand existing programs for poverty
relief, women and children at risk, and offer an HIV treatment
center for orphans. This is an opportunity to strategically help
a country rebuild, train future leaders and reach out to the
surrounding nations of Vietnam, Laos and China.

STUDIO UPDATES
CAMBODIA - Construction is underway! The Morrison family has been on site for
over two months. Three dormitories and a multipurpose cafeteria will be completed by
the end of 2015. One can already sense the scale and impact this new university will
have on generations of Cambodians. Thousands of people will be trained, equipped,
and sent out to Laos, Vietnam, China, and to the ends of the Earth.

AFRICA - John Hudson, architectural intern Emily Fiedler, and board member Terry

Elzinga will travel to Kenya May 27 - June 6. The team will work on a campus plan for
Destiny Africa, a ministry serving villages around the Soysambu Wildlife Conservancy.
The team is also scheduled to visit a Bible training school in Mundri, South Sudan to
discuss building renovations and the expansion of the campus.

SUMMER STUDIO - Thirteen students from 11 universities have been accepted

to the 2015 Summer Studio. Guest speakers include Ken Elzinga from the University
of Virginia, Rick Archer from Overland Partners, Lis Cochrane of ACE Development
Fund, Matt Griffith from in situ studio, and Stacie Burtelson from Judson University.
The program begins July 1st.

FROM

TORI

After returning to the States, I spent two weeks visiting family and friends in the
Southeast, then drove with my mom from Florida to Montana - 3,300 miles. She
was able to experience the majesty of Montana and meet the incredible people I
work with every day.
Coming back to the office has been remarkable. Last year I spent countless hours
on the construction documents for the Stillwater Christian School construction
project. Now I am witnessing the building coming out of the ground and learning
valuable lessons that I can apply to the University of the Nations campus we are
currently designing in Battambang, Cambodia.
I am so blessed to be working in an office that cares so much about the lives of
individuals. The recent earthquakes and related devastation around the globe has
been a significant reminder of why I want to work as an architect. Architecture has
the power to transform lives and bring restoration to a broken world.
I am prayerfully considering making a two-year commitment to serve with 100
Fold Studio. To cover the cost of living expenses, I need to raise a minimum of
$1000/mo. All 100 Fold Studio staff raise funds in order to provide services to
our clients at no cost or with minimal fees. This allows 100 Fold Studio to serve in
impoverished, devastated and underserved areas. Would you consider partnering
with me and 100 Fold Studio for the next two years? My deadline for this goal
is July 15th. Please call or send me an email if you have any questions or need
more information. God is transforming lives through architecture. Together we can
change lives for eternity.
Thank you,
Tori Mansell
