QUESTION 1

You know the way some Muslims believe when you get to heaven anything you imagine comes true?
What if someone imagines sex, or killing someone? What will happen in heaven?
ANSWER
The Qurn [Srah Fuilat (41:31)] states:

9
:

... And you will have (in Paradise) whatever your souls may desire and whatever you may call for.
As for imagining about sex, it will be available instantaneously without any restriction, innumerable times
more pleasurable, and satisfying beyond our comprehension. Everyone will have spouses (azwj in
Arabic). This is stated throughout the Qurn in various srahs and passages. [See Qurn, Srah alBaqarah (2:25); Srah al-Nis (4:57)]
As for killing someone, why would there be a need to kill someone? Allah will purify all people before
admitting them to Paradise so that all such evil desires will be removed. Allah states about the wicked
people that He will not purify them on the Day of Judgement [Qurn, Srah al-Baqarah (2:174)],
implying He will purify the righteous ones. The Qurn [Srah al-r (52:23)] states:

9
:

There will be neither futility in it nor sinning.

And they will be pleased beyond their imagination in the Paradise. The Prophet said:

A man from among the people of Paradise will request Allah to allow him to cultivate the land.
Allah will say to him, Havent you got whatever you desired? He will reply, Yes, but I like to
cultivate the land. (Allah will permit him and) he will sow the seeds, and within seconds the
plants will grow and ripen, and (the yield) will be harvested and piled in heaps like mountains.
On that Allah will say (to him), Take, here you are, O son of Adam, for nothing satisfies you.
[a al-Bukhr, book 97: book of monotheism (kitb al-tawd), chapter 38, adth 7519]
I can also partially recall a adth which states that a person will have sex in Paradise, and his wife will
conceive (i.e. become pregnant) as he wishes, the pregnancy will grow as he wishes, and she will deliver as
he wishes [Sunan al-Tirmidh, book 36: book of features of the Paradise (kitb ifah al-jannah), chapter
23, adth 2563]. So, as you can see, we will get whatever we desire in the Paradise.

QUESTION 2
Some Muslims believe in heaven they will be rewarded with 72 virgins? Is this true? Are they not humans
too, to be used for a mans sexual pleasure? I remember bro, you said if we hold back our desires for our
*******, we will be rewarded with plump women and we can do as we please. Well are they not human too
or are they there or created to be used by men?
ANSWER
There are adths which say that a martyr (i.e. person who gets slain while fighting for Allah) and/or a
common man will be rewarded with 72 r (sing. awr) but these adths are weak and not completely
reliable. Some authentic adths say that he will be given two r. This is mentioned in a al-Bukhr
(adth 3245) and a Muslim (adth 14 (2834)) [refer to Question 8]. But I think Allah may even
increase the number if one wishes, as the Qurn states that they will have everything they wish. Or maybe
those two r will be much more than our comprehension to satisfy us.
Let me give you a short description of r. The Qurn states [Srah al-Wqiah (56:357)]:

9 :

Verily, We have created them as a special creation. Then made them virgin. Loving, equal in age.
They are a special creation, but they will be like humans. And of course, they are made specially for mans
pleasure. A man will also have his wife in Paradise if both of them were righteous [Qurn, Srah alZukhruf (43:6770)] and if their nik was intact at the time of their death (i.e. if not divorced).
Brother, Allah has power over all things. He is the Supreme Creator. He has created millions of creatures
which you and I may not be aware of. And of those we know of, we know they are truly amazing and so
diverse.
Therefore, He has the power to create them in the way described above. And in Paradise, everyone will be
in somewhat different yet better state. But we will also be able to enjoy it physically as we do here in this
world.

QUESTION 3
Bro, why does Allah let little children die of cancer, that is incurable? What did the child do and Allah has
the power to make so that they are healthy, but does nothing.
ANSWER
The Qurn [Srah al-Mulk (67:2)] states:

9 :

(It is He) who created death and life in order to test which of you is good in deeds ...
So this life is a test for the hereafter. As for the infants, they are innocent and sinless. The Prophet said:

The Pen has been lifted from three persons (i.e. their sins are not recorded): one who is sleeping
till he (or she) awakes, a lunatic till he (or she) is restored to consciousness, and an infant till he
(or she) grows up (to understanding).
[Sunan Ab Dwd, book 32: book of prescribed punishments (kitb al-udd), chapter 16,
adth 4398]
Based on this adth, children and infants go directly to heaven irrespective of which family they are born
in. As for their suffering or sickness, it may be a test for their parents. And everyone will be rewarded for
whatever suffering they went through, including those infants. The Prophet said:

No fatigue, nor disease, nor sorrow, nor sadness, nor hurt, nor distress befalls a Muslim, even if
it were the prick he receives from a thorn, but that Allah expiates some of his sins for that.
[a al-Bukhr, book 75: book of patients (kitb al-mar), chapter 1, adth 5641 and 5642]
Allah sometimes decides not to cure them because this life is a test for all of us, their parents too. He may
test us in many different ways. He says [Qurn, Srah al-Furqn (25:20)]:

9

:

And We have made each one of you a trial for another; will you be patient? And your Lord is always allseeing.

QUESTION 4
Why does Allah not show himself in a one way or another to make everyone Muslim?
ANSWER
Again, this life is a test. He wants to see who recognizes Him for His favours and bounties unseen He has
conferred on us. Everyone will believe in Him if He reveals Himself and no test will be left. Even the
toughest of the kfirs will believe in Him after seeing Him on the Day of Judgement. If He reveals
Himself then all matters and disputes will be settled, and this is what is going to happen on the Day of
Judgement. [See Qurn, Srah al-Baqarah (2:210); Srah al-Furqn (25:212)]
I know you might be questioning why He wanted to test us and much more. But, this is somewhat on
which very little data is present in the sources. The Qurn states that when dam (Adam), the first
human being, was created, the angels and Ibls (or the Shayn, Satan) were ordered by Allah to prostrate
to him. But Ibls refused. So Allah cursed him and expelled him from there (I dont know exactly where!).
Then Ibls asked Allah for respite and swore to lead all his (dams) progeny astray. Allah granted him
respite and foretold him that only the wicked ones would follow him (Ibls). Thereafter, we were sent to
this world for the test. [See Qurn, Srah al-Arf (7); Srah al-ijr (15); Srah d (38) for this
incident]
At one place, the Qurn [Srah al-Azb (33:723)] states:

Verily, We presented the Trust (al-amnah) to the skies, the earth, and the mountains, but they refused
to undertake it and were afraid thereof, but man (human) undertook it ...
While at other place, Allah says [Qurn, Srah al-Dhriyt (51:56)]:

I have created the jinns and the humans not but to serve Me.
He also said that He has created them (us) for His Mercy [Qurn, Srah Hd (11:1189)]:

9 :

... Except those on whom your Lord bestows His Mercy, and for that He created them ...
It is also mentioned that we do not have the ability to see Him in this world. But authentic adths of the
Prophet say that after all the believers get admitted to the Paradise, He will reveal Himself to us, in
whatever manner He may wish [a Muslim, book 1: book of faith (kitb al-mn), chapter 80, adth
181 (297)]. Once Prophet Ms (Moses) wished to see Him but Allah foretold him that he cannot see
Him. But when he insisted, Allah told him to look at a mountain and manifested Himself only a little and
the mountain became dust and Prophet Ms fell unconscious [Qurn, Srah al-Arf (7:143)].

It also says [Qurn, Srah al-Arf (7:172)] that Allah asked all of us after creating us saying, Am I not
your Lord? and we all said yes. Then He said (asked us) lest we would say on the Day of Judgement that
we were just simply unaware of this.
Brother, I could not sum up the info on the subject of creation and all its aspect. I did not find much
authentic data on it, and this was even said by Shaykh Ahmad Kutty, the scholar on AsktheScholar.com
fatwa website. But no doubt He reveals His existence through His signs in His Creation. [See Qurn,
Srah al-Baqarah (2:164); Srah l Imrn (3:18991); Srah al-Anm (6:99); Srah al-Rad (13:15)]

QUESTION 5
When a child dies at birth or when they are only like weeks old. When they are in heaven who looks after
them and grows them or are they in a vegetated state until they are reunited with parents?
ANSWER
Brother, everyone will be young in Paradise, including the infants and the old ones who die. According to
one adth, everyones age will be somewhere close to 30 or 33 [Sunan al-Tirmidh, book 36: book of
features of the Paradise (kitb ifah al-jannah), chapter 12, adth 2545].
Till the Day of Judgement, I dont know how they will be. But I think they may be in Paradise already or
something else. I dont know for sure.
Vegetated state? Sorry, I dont get it, bro. Maybe you mean uncreated state or as they were. Could be
possible. But to tell you the truth, I dont know about it.
Yes, they will be reunited with their parents if their parents get admitted to Paradise. The Qurn is
explicit on this subject. Allah says [Qurn, Srah al-r (52:21)]:

9
:

And those who believed and their progeny (or family) followed them up with belief (faith)We shall
put (join) their progeny (or family) with them, and We shall not deprive them of (the reward) of any of
their deeds ...
Allah also says [Qurn, Srah al-Rad (13:23)]:

Z
[

... Gardens of eternity will they (the righteous ones) enter and whoever became righteous of their fathers
(or ancestors), their spouses, and their progeny (or descendants), and the angels entering upon them from
every gate.
Simply put, all the righteous relatives of a person in this world will be reunited with them in the Paradise
too.

QUESTION 6
Do husbands get reunited with wives when both die or no? My father said no but I want your opinion
too. If yes then the 72 virgin believe is wrong, I dont know.
ANSWER
Undoubtedly, yes, if they get admitted to Paradise. Allah says [Qurn, Srah al-Zukhruf (43:6770)]:

The day when friends will be foes (enemies) to one another except the righteous ones. (Allah will say),
O My devotees, no fear shall be upon you this day nor shall ye grieve. (They will be) those who believed
in Our signs and were Muslims (submitting their will). Enter the Paradise you and your spouses
(companions) rejoicing.
He further says [Qurn, Srah Ghfir or al-Mumin (40:8)]:

... (The angels pray for the righteous ones, saying), Our Lord, and admit them to the Gardens of
Eternity which You have promised them and whoever became righteous of their fathers (or ancestors),
their spouses, and their progeny (or descendants); verily, You are the Exalted, the Wise.
Now, it seems to contradict with the concept of r (whether they be two, seventy-two, or Allah knows
how many). Is it possible for a man to live with his wife (or wives) plus r? Let me make it clear to you.
Suppose there is a couple, husband and wife, and both of them are righteous and go to Paradise, then they
will live together, and as promised, the man will also get those r, and his wife (or wives) will be no less
than those r, and there will be neither jealousy nor hatred between them as we see in this world.
And the wife (or wives) and those r will be satisfied with the husband, who will also be beautiful and
handsome enough.
Same will be the case if he has multiple wives. His wives in this world will be his wives in the Paradise too
if they get admitted to Paradise or those of them who get admitted to Paradise.
But if the husband goes to Hell then the wife (or wives) will get someone else righteous in the Paradise,
because the Prophet said:

.
.
... And there will be no one unmarried in Paradise.
[a Muslim, book 51: book of Paradise, and description of its bounties and its dwellers (kitb
al-jannah wa-ifah namih wa-ahlih), chapter 6, adth 14 (2834)]

If the wife (or some or all of the wives) goes to Hell then the husband will get those r plus, maybe I
think, some else righteous ones in place of his wife (or wives).
Brother, what you should realize that we are given only a short, brief, and concise description of the
hereafter in this world. But it will be much more than we could ever think of. We need not restrict Allahs
Power and Grace only to our knowledge and thinking. He is much more lenient when it comes to
rewarding us. Both Paradise and Hell will be much more than what we had ever thought of. Paradise will
be innumerable times more pleasurable than what we can think of. And Hell will be innumerable times
more painful than what we can think of.
We need to reconcile all the authentic sources rather than thinking that only one of them could be true.
Hope you understand it. But we will surely, in sh Allh, get what we have been promised by Allah and
His Messenger in the sources. We just need to strive for gaining Allahs mercy in this world and the
hereafter. May He reward us with His Grace and Mercy in both the worlds, mn!
Also, tell those verses to your father and remove his misconception.

QUESTION 7
Again when a young child dies, and an old person in their 100s, will they still have their child body and
their old body or are they just souls in heaven?
ANSWER
As said above, everyone will be young, beautiful, and married in Paradise, including those who die in their
infancy and old age.
Once an old woman came to the Prophet and asked him to ask Allah for Paradise for her. The Prophet
said to her that there will be no old person in Paradise. Hearing this, she started weeping. Then the
Prophet made her understand that what he meant was that there will be no one old in Paradise but
they will be all young and healthy [Al-Shamil al-Muammadiyyah l l-Tirmidh, chapter 36, adth
241]. But the adth is not authentic.
And we will not be just souls. We will be in somewhat (not completely) different than our present states.
But we will still be like humans and able to enjoy the bounties physically. Because if Allah was going to
make us just souls in Paradise then there will no point in letting us enjoy His bounties, like food and sex,
physically in this world. Allah let us enjoy it lawfully in this world so that we may feel it and desire it in the
hereafter and do righteous deeds to gain it in Paradise.

QUESTION 8
When you are having sex or going to the toilet, is Allah watching? If not then you can commit all sorts of
sins without Allah knowing.
ANSWER
First off, there will be no need for defecating or relieving oneself in Paradise. Allah will make us that way.
As said above, we will be in much better state than the present. Allah will also increase our abilities much
more so that we may enjoy His bounties in Paradise. We will be much more beautiful, healthier, stronger,
and whatever Allah wishes.
No fatigue, no illness, no sorrow, no distress, no dispute, no hatred, no sinning, no evil or bad thing in
Paradise!
Everything will be just perfect, since it is made by the Perfect Creator. The Prophet said:

. 9 :

Allah said, I have prepared for My pious slaves that which no eye has (ever) seen, no ear has
(ever) heard, and no mortals mind has (ever) imagined. If you wish, ye may recite (the verse)
So no soul knows what delight of the eyes are kept hidden for them [Qurn, Srah al-Sajdah
(32:17)].
[a al-Bukhr, book 59: book of beginning of creation (kitb bad al-khalq), chapter 8,
adth 3244]

The first group (of people) who will enter Paradise will be (glittering) like the moon when it is
full. They will not spit or blow their noses or relieve nature. Their utensils will be of gold and
their combs of gold and silver; in their centres the aloe wood will be used, and their sweat will
smell like musk. Everyone of them will have two wives; the marrow of the bones of the wives
legs will be seen through the flesh out of excessive beauty. They (i.e. the people of Paradise) will
neither have differences nor hatred amongst themselves; their hearts will be as if one heart and
they will be glorifying Allah in the morning and in the evening.
[a al-Bukhr, book 59: book of beginning of creation (kitb bad al-khalq), chapter 8,
adth 3245]

The first batch (of people) who will enter Paradise will be (glittering) like a full moon; and those
who will enter next will be (glittering) like the brightest star. Their hearts will be as if the heart of
a single man, for they will have no enmity amongst themselves, and everyone of them shall have
two wives, each of whom will be so beautiful, pure and transparent that the marrow of the
bones of their legs will be seen through the flesh. They will be glorifying Allah in the morning
and evening, and will never fall ill, and they will neither blow their noses, nor spit. Their utensils
will be of gold and silver, and their combs will be of gold, and the fuel used in their centres will
be the aloes-wood, and their sweat will smell like musk.
[a al-Bukhr, book 59: book of beginning of creation (kitb bad al-khalq), chapter 8,
adth 3246]
Secondly, Allah is ever- and all-watching, all-hearing, all-knowing, and all-seeing in this world and in the
hereafter. So, yes, He will be watching us. But He is watching you and me and all the people and creatures
even right now doing all those activities. So does that really make a difference? I dont think so.

QUESTION 9
Some of my other question that I was going to say was answered by Dr. Zakir Naik in his Q and A on
YouTube.

:)

Answered already, you just said!

Brother, I know that not every single answer to the question of yours could be satisfied in here in this
humble attempt of mine, as more or less of these questions had caused confusion or are confusing me
even now. But these are the answers that I could provide you for right now. Also, I have quoted only parts
of some selected verses of the Qurn in here. You should read them fully and with their complete context
in order to avoid any confusion or misconception. There is much more on the subject in the sources but
for the sake of brevity I have cited only a few quotations. The translation of the Qurnic verses is my
own, which I thought would be more convenient. You will get your answers questioned and doubts
clarified as you proceed reading the Qurn and pondering over it. I hope you must be doing it.
Moreover, some concepts are only described shortly in the sources. So we should have faith in Allah, His
Messenger, and Islam, and submit our will to Allah and seek His bounty. It is the way of the Prophet
to observe silence on the subject which one does not know about for surety, neither to confirm it nor
deny. May Allah clarify all of our doubts, guide us, and make us close to Him in this world and the
hereafter, mn!
The Qurnic references are given in the format: Qurn [Srah name (srah number:verse number(s))].
Any further queries, comments, or criticism are all appreciated.

Pray to Allah for me, my parents, my family, and all the Muslims and the Believers, and all humanity.
