1. Understand the concept of relations.
Learning Outcomes: Student will be able to:
1.1

1.2
1.3

Represent relations using:

a)
arrow diagrams
b)
ordered pairs
c)
graphs
Identify domain, codomain, object, image and range of a relation.
Classify a relation shown on a mapped diagram as: one to one, many to
one, one to many or many to many relations.

Activities:
I.
Teacher explain the relation regarding the function, domain, codomain,
object, image and range of a relation.
II.
Students need to classify the relation that have in the function.
III.
Students need to raise their hand and ask what they did not understand
regarding the topic.
Language Focus: -nonePedagogy: Thinking Skills - visualising
Contextual, Multiple Intelligence spatial
Values: Thinking rationally, being systematic
Reflection: At the end of this class, students can answer the question base on their
understanding. It seem that at the beginning of class students did not know
the topic. Teacher ask student to make a revision regarding this topic for
the next class.
