Summary of Annabel Lee
The poem Annabel Lee by Edgar Allan Poe tells about a love
and unhappy story. A long time ago, a man met a single girl in a
village whose name was Annabel Lee. She only wanted to love and
enjoyed being loved. They were a pure and innocent couple, and
their love was so original and true like angels love for us.
Suddenly, something pretty weird happened to Annabel. God
called her. Even though she was so far from him, the man still loved
her so deeply and uncontrollably. Nothing could break it because his
love was so strong and powerful.
Every single night, he dreamed about Annabel singing to him
the most beautiful song ever. He went to where she was resting
eternally.
