The priorities you helped define continue to focus Joy on doing Gods Work.
(So, Joy is literally doing your handiwork! )
You can see below what we strive to do. However, giving at Joy has been flat for 3-4 years, while
expenses increase. Rather than a one time offering, Joy needs sustained financial security,
therefore, please consider giving at least $8/more each week, starting today!

Joys 2014-2015 Ministry Work

Develop and implement a strategy to reach

new people and gather them into the life of the church.

New member sponsorship and Welcome Sundays

Wednesday night suppers and social time
Greeters on Sunday and Muffin Ministry between services
Race Back to Church on Rally Sunday

Develop ministries that work toward

healing those broken by lifes circumstances.

Special collections for those in need

Prayer chain
Pastoral hospital and at-home visits

Deepen our sense of connections to God and

one another through stronger worship services.

Traditional and Contemporary Worship Services lead by a

gifted pastor, and musicians with lay-ministry support

Small group Bible study for men and women

Youth Activities: Sunday School, Shift 6/7, VBS, Confirmation
Bibles, High School & Middle School Trips, Service/Learning
Trip to Canada. Shanty Town, HS Prayer Breakfast, Guitar
Camp, and Youth Music Groups

Musical Opportunities: Choir, bells, quartets, youth and adult band

Addition of a musical director position to oversee and produce
inspiring music

Provide more opportunities for Christian education

and spiritual formulation at every age and stage of life.

Strengthen the management and support of

persons in various ministries.
