MY MESSAGE TO THE WORLD

What is the real message of hope? Hope is defined as the feeling that what is wanted can
be had or that events will turn out for the best. (Dictionary.com, 2015) From scientists,
dictionaries, and universities researches, the definition of hope has the feeling of waiting for
something good to come. According to Gabriel Marsel, Hope is perhaps the very substance our
soul is made of.(Gabriel M., 2015) Hope can definitely change everyones perspective on how
the world tells its story in this generation. My message to the world has its foundation with a
specific communication goal through understanding, developing, and keeping track to improve
ourselves. The fact that we communicate through hope will help in order to increase hope in the
world and. My message to the world will help us to tell the right message every time we want to
share something meaningful.
Understanding what we need to improve on is our number one priority. The reason is,
when we do not know what we are supposed to work on, or how to overcome a weakness, we
start to feel lost. When the feeling of directionless starts to take us over, we feel sadness, or even
fear. Hope can be the answer if we can truly understand its concepts. The path that we might
choose will guide us throughout the course of understanding what kind of setting we need in
order to achieve this goal, which will help us with our message to the world. The poet Anne
Grant who gave us an example and path to follow, Grief is perhaps an unknown territory for
you. You might feel both helpless and hopeless without a sense of a 'map' for the journey.

Confusion is the hallmark of a transition. To rebuild both your inner and outer world is a major
project.(Anne G., 2015)
After accomplishing our first step which understands what we need to work on, or how to
overcome our weaknesses, we must start developing our communication goal. Jack Welch, a
business man said, Management is all about managing in the short term, while developing the
plans for the long term.(Jack W., 2015) After knowing that we all need to do something now to
achieve something greater, my new communication goal is to use my developer strength to help
me in my workplace. However, how will I do this? Using my developer strength when I am in
meetings. After analyzing the given data, I will come up with a plan after writing everything
down. This plan will use the given data to help the whole workplace and not only one specific
department. Helping others with a plan will increase each department numbers and doing that
will increase the performance of the workplace as one. However, using my developer strength to
come up with a plan to help each department I realized that each department has the power to
come up with a specific plan to attend to their priorities instead of using this general plan would
be much better and the management would have a long term success.
Therefore, as long as I use my developer strength to help my workplace. My goal will
help me to share my message to the world. How will helping the others departments allow me to
share my message to the world? Many ideas grow better when transplanted into another mind
than the one where they sprang up. (Oliver W. H., 2015) After sharing my goal helping those
departments to help themselves, my concepts and ideas to the world will share hope, because
once they start to do so, they will start helping others not only in the workplace but wherever
they might be. Then, waiting for something good to happen or hope, will increase in everyones
heart and the world will begin to change and become better and better.

Spreading hope through this communication goal will help me to share my message to
the world. Thus, keeping track or measuring on how I am doing with this goal making a report
and keeping a journal every day, sharing my message of hope and improvements to my family as
well. It will allow me to inspire others to do the same reaching not only the workplace, or
relatives but, friends, members, and non-members of the church throughout the world. The key
point of keeping track can be explained by the prophet and president of The Church of Jesus
Christ of Latter Days, Thomas Spencer Monson who said, When we deal with generalities, we
shall never succeed. When we deal with specifics, we shall rarely have failures. When
performance is measured, performance improves.(Thomas S. M., 2015) As we strive to keep
doing what we first understood, developed, and then measured, I might have one step to share
my message to the world with meaningful heart and mind.
As a result, my message to the world needs three important steps in order to reach
everyones heart meaningfully with hope. First, understanding what I need to work on or
overcome. Second, develop this communication goal which is using my developer strength to
help the departments in my workplace help themselves solving any kind of issue with success
using the general plan as a base to create their owns. After creating their own strategy to achieve
success, everything else in their departments will work alongside with their plan. Third and last
but not least important, keeping track on how I am performing this goal, to see whether any
changes need to happen and making reports and journals every day to help me out in this pursuit
for spreading hope worldwide through my message. Thus, my message to the world is that with
hope and focus, setting goals along the way to help everyone achieve greater things in life, with
first understanding, developing, then measuring our degree of success will allow us to

demonstrate our love and appreciation for this world through the message of waiting for
something good to come.
