Assessment Instrument
BeaconLBS does not use assessment instruments however we do create job aids. According to
Piskurich (2006) the trainee performs the task or series of tasks having practiced in a real
environment. The checklist gives the evaluator a place to check where completed. In the case of
BeaconLBS the learner will be their own evaluator. The checklist was made as a combination
self-assessment and job aid to assist in learning as well as a reminder of steps.
Double click on the PDF Document to open the PDS-Q User Guide with accessible video link.
The User Guide is designed for self instruction with a video demonstration to support its use. The
learner will login to a live system with live data.
Video Link: this is my personal site but will be added to BeaconLBS site before distribution to
the public.
