PROFILE

I had the blessing of being raised in both the Victorian town of Bellefonte, Pennsylvania and the
third-world country of Papua New Guinea. While there, I became fluent in the trade language
called Tok Pisin. Through the places I have been and lessons I have learned, I have come to prize
relationships, cultural perspectives, and the way literature reflects these things. I have a passion to
share this with my students and to encourage them to reach their full potential.
