    used to cross-link the rubber molecules. The resulting rubber is stiffer, stronger,
    and extensible.

    Reinforcing fillers It helps to improve the mechanical properties of rubber.

    Non-reinforcing fillers It helps to extend the rubber in order to reduce the cost.

    Antioxidants It helps to delay aging of rubber by oxidation.

    Coloring pigments It helps to give color tone to the rubber.

    Plasticizers It helps to soften the rubber.
