ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT

NUTRITION MONTH CELEBRATION 2015

AMUNITAN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL conducted the NUTRITION MONTH

CELEBRATION on July 29,2015 in consonance to the programs mandated by the
National Nutrition Council through the Municipal Nutrition Council. The theme:
TimbangIwastosaTamangNutrisyon at Ehersisyo!, provides awareness to
schoolchildren as well as the teachers, parents, and community as a whole,about
preventing overweight and obesity and having a healthy lifestyle to stay away from
non-communicable diseases and other types of lifestyle diseases.
The

following were conducted for the celebration of the Nutrition Month:

Every morning from July 1st to July 30, bits of information about health
and nutrition were shared to pupils after the flag ceremony.
Highlight of the school celebration was the Search for Mr. and Ms.
Nutrition 2015, popularity contest.
The school was able to raise fund amounting to P96,232.25 through
the efforts of the teachers and parents . The proceeds of the fund
raising were used to put up school and classroom projects.

3. Concrete bench of Grade IV-B classroom
4. Purchased of 1 unit electric fan and tiling of corridor
5. Concrete bench outside the classroom of kindergarten
6. Steel window in grade 3 classroom

The coronation program was graced by our Municipal Health Officer,
Dr. Louie S. Sunico, and Barangay Captain Rodolfo R. Calipdan.
Simultaneously, the oath taking of the PTAG-O officers were done.
Inspiring messages from the two guests were delivered by them.

The program was successfully implemented because of the cooperation and

good working relationship of the school and its stakeholders especially the parents.
