A. Explanation of Welcoming Speech
Welcoming Speech is prepared to honor a person or group on their arrival. It is
delivered to mark the beginning of an event or occasion, such as a conference,
seminar or course. This could be also for an event or for the beginning of a planned
period of activity or study (as with new students or employees.
The structure of welcoming speech :
1. Greeting
- Original members of an organization
- Any honorary people present
- New addition(s) of the group/organization
2. Gratitude expression
3. Background information
4. Goals/targets/hopes
5. Motivating words
6. Apology
Purpose of the welcoming speech is to greet the audience, explain why the event is so
exciting and interesting, set the tone for the event and inform the audience of what to
expect.

Program Remedial dan Pengayaan


1. Pengayaan
Siswa yang sudah tuntas atau sudah mencapai kompetensi yang telah ditentukan
diberikan pengayaan atau tindak lanjut. Misalnya, siswa diberikan tugas mencari kata
sambutan yang lain yang berkaitan dengan lingkungan mereka sehari-hari atau siswa

Remedial

Siswa yang belum tuntas atau belum mencapai kompetensi yang telah ditentukan
harus diberikan remedial berupa tes atau tugas. Misalnya, siswa disuruh
