American Economy

The state of the American economy is one that is globally relevant and
impactful- when the American economy suffers, the rest of the world suffers,
and when the American economy flourishes, the rest of the developed world
flourishes. After the 2008 recession, many citizens tremendously suffered
economically; many lost jobs and others lost their homes. However, current
unemployment rate, poverty rate, US economic growth and power, and
various case studies indicate that the current state of the US economy is
stable and prosperous relative to other times in history- that is the current
state of the economy is a positive one, although there are still some
imperfections present.
