This project involves developing a monitoring system in LabVIEW for critical parameters like channel temperatures, coolant pressures, and steam pressures at the KANUPP nuclear power plant. It will estimate temperature tilt in the core, channel power, primary and secondary global powers, and load reduction rates. Students will identify key parameters, develop estimation logic, validate results, and create a prototype simulator for dynamic analysis of KANUPP. The monitoring system and estimator will provide a training simulator and understanding of plant parameters under transients to support decision making at KANUPP.
