assessments.
(3) Validation of results with benchmark available results.
(4) Development of prototype simulator for dynamic analysis of KANUPP.
Methodology:
In this project following methodology will be adopted:
(1) Amongst various parameters, selection of critical parameters for test bench and development of
monitoring system for channel temperatures, coolant pressures and steam pressures.
(2) Development of estimation logic for temperature tilt in core, channel power computations, primary
and secondary global powers, power reduction rates under load reduction tests.
(3) Development of prototype simulator based on data driven approach and estimation logic under
different scenarios of KANUPP.
Importance of project:
Following features covers the practicality and usefulness of proposed project:
(1) It provides a prototype training simulator for fellows and trainees.
(2) It provides detail understanding of plant parameters and their variations under transient conditions.
Scope of Project:
Following features covers depth of proposed project:
(1)
To provide simplified analytical facility for nuclear power plant analysis.
(2)
To provide a simplified and new estimation based tool for KANUPP.
