Introduction
The UK Government introducing
its first Clean Air Act in 1956. In
1961 the UK established the
world's first coordinated national
air pollution monitoring network,
called the National Survey. It
monitored black smoke and
sulphur dioxide at around 1200
sites in the UK.

Significance and Applications

Air pollution is harmful for human health.
The basic mission of the Office of Air Quality
Planning and Standards is to preserve and improve
the quality of our nation's air.

Analysis

Methodology
A low power wireless sensor network and control of inter-node
data reception for use in the real time acquisition and
communication of air pollutants. The main objective is
achieved by interfacing various sensors to measure the
common air pollutants. To measured data is displayed
LABVIEW on the monitor using the graphical user interface
(GUI) . Sensor node is responsible to send information
detected by its sensing abilities to subsequent sensor node or
to sink node. Diverse Parameters of environment are measured
by sensing component of wireless sensor network such as
gases, smoke concentration, and dust particles etc. . That
causes air pollution.
