Sir,
I am directed to refer to the minutes of the Central Seat Allocation Board
(CSAB) - 2015 Core Committee meeting held on 5th August, 2015 to review the
position of vacancy of seats in NITs, !ITs and other CFTis (excluding !ITs and
ISM) reported till 4th round of common counseling. After considering the minutes of
the meeting and keeping in view various representations in the matter, you are
advised as under:

the special round of counseling may allow the same categories as in the
earlier rounds; and
the following categories of participants may also be allowed to participate in
the proposed Counseling under CSAB - 2015 as has been done in earlier
rounds:

Category of candidates
Those who have registered and allotted a seat but did not accepted
tha~ seat. It includes dual reporting candidates who also did not report
again.
Those who have accepted seats but not reported at allotted institutes.
Those candidates who got withdrawal/ cancellation at PI.

This issues with the approval of Secretary, Department of Higher

Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development.
