Agriculture Project and Club (FFA)

All students enrolled in an ag class in the state of California are required to have
a portion of their grade determined by participation in the FFA club, and outside
of class work on a Supervised Agriculture Experience Project. Multiple options
exist for both of those requirements, and students will have many choices, but
should know ahead of time that this takes effort in addition to the minutes within
the classroom and expected homework.

Grades are entered from the interactive notebook weekly (biweekly at a
minimum). The student shall keep track of what pages were collected each
week, and how many of those stamps they have turned in that week. This is
recorded in the notebook and shall match the online gradebook.
Late/Make-up Work
Students are responsible for attaining all lecture notes missed during an absence,
and that any assignments are made up within the timeframe allowed in the
student handbook. Please see another student for their entries in the interactive
notebook. Once this is done, you must tell your Mr. Macy the exact assignment
you need to make up. Your instructor will not chase you. Late work may be
accepted by Mr. Macy outside of the regular class minutes when there is not a
more pressing issue.

Mr. Macy follows all school rules in his classroom. Please follow all school rules on
a daily basis as outlined in the student handbook received at the beginning of the
