PROLOGUE:

The shift from agro based economy to an industrial is an essential part of the process of
economic development. Exports of textiles and garments are the principal source of foreign exchange
earnings. By 2002 exports of textiles, clothing, and ready-made garments (RMG) accounted for 77% of
Bangladeshs total merchandise exports. By 2013, about 4 million people, mostly women, worked in
Bangladesh's $19 billion-a-year industry, export-oriented ready-made garment (RMG) industry. Sixty percent
of the export contracts of western brands are with European buyers and about forty percent with American
buyers. Due to its major contribution in the economy it has become very important for the

garments to meet the customer needs and emphasize on the customers satisfaction as the
competition is getting very tight since other LDCs are also competing in the same sector.
Therefore customer satisfaction is playing a huge role in the success of the organization as well
as in the overall economy.

ORIGIN OF THE REPORT:

In todays competitive world, education is not limited to theoretical knowledge, but it also
extends to the real world applications for the betterment of the business and society as a whole.
The perfect coordination between theory and practice is of paramount importance in the context
of the modern business world in order to resolve the dichotomy between these two areas. On the
other hand, Complaint with the rules and regulation of the BBA program offered by the
Department of Business Administration of IBAIS University it is mandatory for a student to go
for practical exposure, in order to be acquainted with the real management practices. Garments
industry in todays world is changing rapidly as taste and preference of the customers are
changing rapidly, new technologies are introduced, competition is increasing, customers has a
wide array of choices and prices from which they can choose the appropriate products for them.
Therefore customer satisfaction has become a central point for the garment industry to retain old
customers and attract new customers to remain profitable and stay in the business which is very
important for the company as well as for the overall economy. So I would like to prepare a report
under the supervision of Afroza Shirin Dept. Of Business Administration, IBAIS University and
the topic of my study is Customer Satisfaction of M.S. Attires Ltd..
