Point
Point represents a
specific location in
space , is it named
by a capital letter.

This picture relates to

the term because all
arrows are directed
to the point. A point
is normally used in
geometry as a vertex.

Line
All lines are straight, they are infinitely long they
are long lasting, and lines do not have any
endpoints.
You can not measure a line , because there are
no endpoints on a line. As you can see in this
picture, the line is infinitely long and it is not
ending.

Ray
All rays have on endpoint,
they infinitely long in one
direction
Rays are named by the
endpoint and by points
that passes through.
As you can see in this
picture the yellow arrow is
pointing in one direction,
just as a ray would.

Segment
All segment have two
endpoints, they can be
measured with a ruler.
Segments are named by
their endpoints and they
are not infinitely long,
because endpoints are on
each side of the
segments.
As you can see in this
picture the pencil is a

Perpendicular Lines
Perpendicular lines are lines that intersect and form a
right angle.
As you can see in this
picture of a book shelf, the
lines on the shelf looks as if
they are intersecting and
they are making an right
angle on both sides, all
around.

Plane
A plane is a flat surface, it
extends infinitely long in all
directions.
All planes are named by
three collinear points.
As you can see in this
picture of an eraser(plane),
with points on it which looks
as if the points are collinear.

Collinear Points
Collinear means points that lie on the same line.
Those points can be measured, but the line itself cannot
be measured.
As you see in this picture all the objects are in
One line, and they have been labled as points.

Acute angle
All acute angles are
smaller than right angles
and obtuse angles.
Their measurements are
less than 90 degrees
As you see in this picture
of a craft, the corners of
this triangle is an acute
angle.

Obtuse Angle
Obtuse angle are
measured more than 90
degrees.
They are bigger than
acute and right angles.
As you see in this picture,
the handle part of this
flag, it forms an obtuse
angle.

Right Angle
All right angles are
measured at 90 degrees.
They are formed by two
intersecting lines
As you see in this picture,
the women has one leg up
and the other down
straight, and her legs form
a right angle

Vertical Angles
Vertical angles are
intersecting lines that are
congruent
If two intersecting lines
are congruent they are
vertical to each other.
This railroad crossing sign,
the liens in the sign is
congruent to each other.
They are intersecting
