Orpheus and Eurydice

The story of Orpheus and Eurydice is 2,500 years old, and its exact origin is
not entirely known. Despite the wide variety of interpretations, the core of
the story is this: Orpheus, master musician, falls in love with Eurydice.
Orpheus and Eurydice get married, but later that night, Eurydice is bit by a
snake and dies. So far, so terrible. Overcome with grief, Orpheus travels to
the under world to bring her back to life. He convinces Hades and
Persephone to let Eurydice go, But her release comes with a catch: Eurydice
must walk behind him as they ascend to the upper world, and Orpheus is
forbidden from looking at her.
If only Orpheus follow the instructions of the gods in the underworld, He will
never be left alone in the underworld.
