torque wrench.

Check the tightness of all nuts using torque wrench.
Check for any missing of member & hole. Unused hole must be
sealed.
The joints shall be painted with zinc paint on all contact surfaces
during the course of erection.

The following Additional point shall be include
BGRE shall ensure installation of earth protection grid in the switchyard
along with earth pits before taking up tower erection.
BGRE shall provide modification method statement on GI members in
event of any mismatch of prefabrication members.

for welded joints but the same may not be
required for bolted joints unless until the loss of
zinc coating (due to site handling) is observed in
member contact surface

members involving fabrication at site is not
envisaged except adjustments pertaining to
alignment which will decided by site engineer with
prior approval from OPGC

BGRE shall provide lightening/earthing protection during erection of

tower.

BGRE shall submit the HIRA for switch yard structural installation for
OPGC review and approval.

Lightning and earthing system will installed as per

approved drg and Method statement.
