Professor Intawiwat
1. What is writers voice?
a. Writers voice is ones own style of writing, punctuations, diction, hat emits
ones voice in a sense in the paper they wrote.
2. Why write in different genres? What type (genre) of writing will you be doing?
a. We will write in different genres because it will shape the paper in
numerous ways that can and will make the paper show our ideas and main
focus. Things such as lab reports and case studies. In school, and my
future career, I will most likely be writing in a narrative to show my
specific style and what Ive done in lab reports and study cases.
3. In your major what style/format are you suppose to use?
a. I believe I will be using both MLA and APA Format.
4. What is rhetorical situation?
a. A rhetorical situation is an event that needs to be solved but is answered
with another question which makes it go in somewhat of a loop.
5. What genre do you most often write in?
a. I would say that the genre I write most in is, probably a speech genre.
6. What is your purpose?
a. I write to give advice to many companions of mine that go through rough
times, and how they can overcome the rough patch in the road.
7. Do you think of your audience?
a. Of course, I believe that getting onto a sublevel of where their current
situation and how to comprehend and understand their viewpoint and
standpoint is very important when giving advice.
8. Where do you go for evidence?
a. Usually, I would start by searching on Google for reliable resources that
will expand and support my statement. I would also go to the library to
find books on the subject I am researching.
9. Do you use prewriting techniques?
a. When writing to a friend, I usually type, then reread my passage, and find
my errors and do my best to correct them all before I send it off. As for a

formal paper, I would usually brainstorm, and expand on the ideas that
pop into my head and go more in depth with the possible subjects to be
talked about in my paper.
10. Write a short paragraph directed toward me about your expectations in this
class
a. My expectations for this class is to hopefully be a bit similar to the way
UWRT 1101 would be. Since this is 1102, Im assuming I will be learning
in a greater depth about writing. I also expect this class to be somewhat
laid back in a sense that makes a writing extensive class a little more
enjoyable.
11. Rewrite the short paragraph in a text to a close friend.
a. Brobeans, I really hope this class will be hella trill. I hope this classes isnt
as hard as the other classes Im taking. Hopefully this will be a chill class.
b. How do they differ?
i. A text to a friend is usually really informal since it shows a bit
more of a cozy vibe with one another, and usually to a professor, it
is best to be formal to show you have some sort of thought in that
noggin.
