Join Our Six-Week Storytelling Workshop in Novato!
 
Week One: Connecting with your child through the story. Learn your first story
in a relaxed and fun setting plus tips for creating a bedtime routine.
(Note: all stories are provided)
Week Two: A peek into child development and how to choose age-appropriate stories
from birth to 5 years old. Learn a new story. Storytelling tips and exercises.
Week Three: Exploring fairy tales including the most frequently asked questions about
their meaning, imagery and significance. How to choose stories. Learn your
third story.
Week Four: How storytelling styles change as children grow up. A look at the 6 and 7
year old. Learn fourth story. Working with your own voice and gestures.
Week Five: Getting under the skin of stories – the quest for meaning. Child
development picture of ages 8 -9-10. The nine-year change. Learn fifth story.
Week Six: Story Celebration! Stories that heal and transform. Book recommendations and
handouts. Creating our own stories in small groups using a simple story
structure.
