E-TEST
BRIEF

This
is
an
individual
online
test
that
take
place
on
06/06/16
that
uses
mulSple
choice
quesSons
to
assess
knowledge
of
architecture
in
context
based
on:
- The
content
of
the
lectures
that
will
cover
dierent
architectural
debates,
theories
and
Sme
periods
- Image
idenScaSon
Being
able
to
recognise
buildings
that
have
been
shown
in
lectures
and
knowing
their
name,
locaSon,
era
etc.
The
e-test
will
last
40
minutes
and
will
be
in
a
controlled
environment.
Personal
notes
from
the
lectures
can
be
brought
in
to
the
test
but
they
have
to
be
wricen
on
the
PowerPoint
slides,
however
no
other
notaSons
or
book
swill
be
permiced.

Over
the
course
of
the
year
a
set
of
tasks
need
to
be
uploaded
to
a
precedents
blog.
These
tasks
all
will
relate
to
issues
discussed
during
the
lectures
and
seminars,
as
well
as
the
design
studio
module.
ConsideraSon
is
needed
for
wider
areas
of
society,
poliScs
and
culture
that
have
taken
place
in
dierent
historical
contexts
and
also
to
develop
criScal
thinking
skills
about
architectural
ideas.
As
the
tasks
are
being
completed
you
should
be
able
to
recognise
the
relaSonship
between
historic
and
contemporary
architectural
contexts.
Complete
the
tasks
on
a
regular
basis
(One
task
a
week
preferably)
and
should
follow
the
schedule
when
doing
so.
Use
pictures,
drawings
and
other
sources
of
informaSon
that
are
appropriate.
