Construct a battery formed by a magnesium electrode (anode:
negative electrode) and a copper electrode (cathode: positive
electrode) used as electrolyte vinegar.
When the sheets of the electrodes are connected by wires (carry
electrical current), the chemical reaction takes place: The hydrogen is
released into the copper foil that loses electrons loaning dissolution
and being positively charged. Magnesium ionized atoms are released
from the corresponding sheet, leaving behind electrons that negatively
charged sheet. The electrons move through the cable from the foil to
the copper magnesium. This is the electrical current, which continues
until the magnesium completely erodes or is disabled acid.
