Suggested activities for Formative Assessment


Note to the teachers:

Learning activities are suggested for each unit to facilitate formative assessment.
These activities can be given either individually or in small groups.
As far as possible the activities are to be given in small groups.
It is advisable to facilitate students to do these activities in the classroom during the
working hours.
Group activity requires supervision from teachers and their observation is very essential.
Prepare rubrics or any assessment tool for assessing the performance.
For each formative assessment (FAI, FA2, FA3, FA4) give any two activities in the units
allotted for that period, without repetition in the same unit.
Give 8 different activities for the four FAS.
Any activity other than the suggested activities can be planned depending on the
resources available.
