Control checks for Penetrant Testing.

1.Visually check for sign of crack on the filter.
2.Switch on UV-A light and allow 10 minute for
warming -up.
3.Allow 5 minute to the operater eye suitable for dark
areas.
4.Place the radiometer under UV-A light and ensure
the UV-A light distance to the sensor at less 400mm.
5.Switch the selected to the unit mW/cm2 and press
the button. Ensure the reading not less than
0.8mW/cm2.(actually reading 2.5mW/cm2)
6. UV-A light acceptable for inspection.
Precaution: Avoid operator looking directly to the
UV-A light.
