2 Midterms 25% each.


Final 40% -- Wednesday 12/23 4:00 pm
Homework 10%

1. Attendance is not mandatory, except for the nights of the exams. Make-up exams
will not be given.
2. In order to receive full credit for any assignment it must completely satisfy the
requirements of the assignment and be submitted on time.
3. Always put your name on anything you hand in. Do not put your ID number on
any written work.
4. Be sure to take each of the exams as makeup exams are given in case of severe
emergency only. If you think you have an adequate reason to need a makeup, you
must notify the instructor before the exam.
5. NO grades of INC will be given. Be aware of the last day to withdraw from the
course without evaluation (see the Registrars web page). It is very difficult to
withdraw after that day, even if you are passing the course.
6. Tutors are available. Check with the Computer Science Department.
7. Cheating in the course will not be tolerated and will result in your failing the
course. Do not copy or purchase your friend's or anyone else's program and hand it
in as your own. You will be referred to the Dean of Student's office and subject to
suspension and possibly expulsion from the College. As stated in the College
Bulletin:
"Students found guilty of any form of academic dishonesty, such as plagiarism or
cheating on an exam, are subject to discipline, including suspension or dismissal
from the College."
8. Do not abuse the computer facilities provided to you by the Computer Center.
The Computer Center has strict policies in this matter which you should read.
