Overview

8 years as a Psychological Operations Specialist with experience in


marketing/project management. Leveraging specific target audiences,
local populations and key communicators. Steers the development in
partnership building, improved productivity and identifies long-term
opportunities to produce impacting results with customers. Drives focused
solutions and delivers insight on current industry issues/trends to fortify
retention and satisfaction levels.

Advanced through the ranks to become a Team Leader of the Armys only
active duty Psychological Operations unit within the United States Army
Special Operations Command.
Advised and operated with the militarys most elite units to include 3
Army Special Forces teams and 1 Navy SEAL team resulting in the
degradation of terrorist networks in specific areas by 40% within Iraq
and Afghanistan.
Planned and managed the construction of 8 well installation projects, 3
bridge projects, and 2 radio station projects providing over 500,000
citizens throughout Iraq and Afghanistan potable drinking water, ease of
movement and radio listenership that met our nations objectives.
Supervised the implementation of PSYOP programs and plans in direct
support of USCENTCOM objectives. Directly responsible for the health,
welfare, morale, training, and esprit-de-corps of over 200 soldiers.
Responsible for the tracking, maintenance and accountability of more
than $3 million dollars worth of equipment.
Received the Bronze Star Medal for exceptionally meritorious service
while serving as a Team Leader in support of Naval Special Warfare
Team 7 (SEAL) in Afghanistan.

Professional Experience

United States Army, 2006-2014


SERGEANT - Completed 8 years within the United States Army Special
Operations Command and gained non-commissioned officer status as a
Psychological Operations Specialist. Deployed 4 times in support of OIF,
OEF and Operation Odyssey Dawn (Libya).
An active participant in the swift/forceful turnaround of the armed forces
that led to the U.S. victory in Operation Iraqi Freedom. Played an integral
part as a Psychological Operations Team Leader in Afghanistan to an area
that was designated as the winter focus by the Combined Special
Operations Task Force Commander. Part of multiple expert advisory teams
that provided tactical level modular demonstrations that enhanced the
understanding of Psychological Operations to Kazakhstani and Egyptian
military officials to include multiple U.S. congressional delegates. Those
efforts directly contributed to generating and improving relationships with
our allies in support of Special Operations Command-Central strategy.
Specific duties and achievements include:
Management:

Was one of only a few Psychological Operations Team Leaders that


managed two Tactical Radio Stations in Afghanistan disseminating over
8,000 PSYOP radio messages and broadcasting over 5,000 hours of
programming to the population of the Qeysar district in Afghanistan.
Advanced quickly through the ranks to become a valued and trusted noncommissioned officer providing training and mentorship of over 200
soldiers. Personally designed and led a team in the construction of a 1,200
square foot headquarters building for an Afghan Local Police Unit.
Upgraded training curriculum and methods, cross-trained personnel in job
duties resulting in lower supervision requirements. Managed multimillion
dollars worth of equipment and projects that proved to be instrumental in
meeting our nations objectives. Led a team responsible for product
development, target audience analysis, radio messaging and developed the
tracking system for over 1,500 PSYOP products which improved efficiency
and organization of products in support of combat operations in Libya
(Operation Odyssey Dawn).

Operations &
Logistics:

Managed a $100,000 budget in Afghanistan. Responsible for controlling


the procurement of durable and expendable items under the budget. A
recognized expert in planning and executing complex operations with
100% accuracy and success, including the scheduling and movement of
personnel and the timely transfer of millions of dollars worth of equipment
to support and maintain operations.

Training &
Development:

Single handedly planned, prepared, resourced and executed a three day


company level training event and was instrumental as the lead instructor
teaching 30 soldiers critical survival field craft and advanced land
navigation techniques to enable them to navigate and survive in an austere
environment. Trained over 50 Iraqi SWAT soldiers in Information
Operations; greatly enhancing their credibility and capabilities during OIF
VII. Trained over 70 Afghan Local Police officers in small unit tactics and
basic weapons handling. Received outstanding praise and recognition for
instructional expertise from the Marine Corps Information Operations
Command commander resulting in Marine Information Operation soldiers
excelling in all evaluated pre-deployment areas.
