ofthemultiplicationfactfamilies.Thepurposeinimplementingtheclassroom
SmartboardandmultiplicationAppsistoincorporatetechnologyinarelevantand
engagingmanner.Thisartifactallowsthestudentstoparticipateinlearningby
providingafunrepetitiveenvironmentthatstimulatesthestudentsdesirefor
continualclassroompracticewiththemultiplicationfacts.Thisartifactwasproduced
forEducationalTechnologyinthefallof2015.
Step3:PurposeoftheStandard
Myunderstandingofthisstandardisimportantbecauseitcreatesadeeper
understandingasateacherofincorporatingtechnologyinaclassroomwhichvalues
collaboration.Asafutureteacher,developingfuninteractivewaystochallengethe
learningofstudentswillbeapriority.Inordertodothis,itismyresponsibilityto
researchvariouswaysinwhichIcanimplementtechnologyforcriticalthinking,
creativity,andcollaborativeproblemsolvingfordifferentsubjects.Preparingstudents
forthefutureismyjobasateacherandthefutureofstudentswillbetheabilityto
usetechnology.Inspecialeducation,technologyisleadingthewayforstudentsto
achieveacademicsuccessinwaysthatinthepastwerenotavailable.Iunderstand
thatinOklahomathetechnologyprovidedintheclassroomsmaybelimited.Bybeing
proactiveinmypursuitofusingtechnology,collaboratingwithmycolleagues,and
utilizingmytechnologyresourcesthatareavailable,Icancreatelessonsforstudents
withtechnology.SmartboardsandiPadsareperfectexamplesofresourcesthatIcan
easilyincorporateinanysubject.
Step4:AnalysisoftheArtifact
Theartifactisamobilelearninglessonthatfacilitatesthestandard5byimplementing
theclassroomsmartboardandiPadsforstudentengagementwithtechnologytodrive
learning.Increatingthisartifactwithmycolleagues,ithasmademerealizestudents
learnbyinteractionandusingtechnology.Teachingischanginganditmustevolve
aroundtheintereststhatengagestudents.Weareinagenerationthatisconsumed
withtechnologyandintegratingitintotheclassroomisawin,winforstudentsand
studentlearning.Myabilitytounderstandthatstudentsaremorereceptivetolearning
byusingtechnologymakesitapriorityformeasafutureteachertoincorporateitin
theclassroom.Inordertodothis,itwillrequireprofessionalcollaboration,creativity,
reflection,andpatienceonmyparttoeffectivelymodeltheseskillsastheteacher.
