ADDENDUM /BID BULLETIN NO. 15-016
This Addendum/Bid Bulletin No.15- 016 is issued in response to the queries raised during
the pre-bid conference conducted on 15 October 2015 for the project Construction of UPOU
International Convention Center. Bidders should take note of the following:
1. Similar projects refers to projects involving construction of a public assembly building such
as gymnasiums, multipurpose halls, and similar structures.
2. With regard to the railings, the material specified in the BOQ is stainless steel. Please refer to
attachments A1-8g and A1-8h.
3. The excavated soil, especially the topsoil, should be stored inside the UPOU premises and
used as landscape or backfilling material.
4. For the minimum requirements for the list of equipment, please refer to the attached Monthly
Equipment Utilization form.
5. The list of brand names and manufacturers/suppliers specified in the technical specifications is
an indicator of the preferred performance quality of the materials to be used in the
construction and should be used as a guide in costing. Other brands and/or suppliers/
manufacturers of materials of the same quality are allowed.
6. Only tax returns filed through the Electronic Filing Payment System (EFPS) shall be accepted,
as per GPPB Resolution No.11-2013 and Revenue Memorandum Circular No.30-2013.
7. There shall be no extension of the deadline for the submission of bids. The submission of bids
is scheduled on 27 October 2015, 3:00 PM.
8. Page A1-10b in the table of contents of the plans/drawings should be disregarded since it is not
included in the sheets of architectural plan.

9. For the items without quantities in the blank Bill of Quantities (BOQ), please take note of the
following:
Item 2.9.2 - Leave it blank. Softscape carabao grass is not included in the construction.
Item 5.5.14 - The Aluminum Composite Panel (ACP) for the gutter cover should be
183.47 sq.m.
Item 8.3.1.1 - Leave it blank. Window glazing should be included in item 8.2.1.1
Item 8.4.3.B - Gravity hinge should be included in the toilet partitions as a set which should
be 72 pieces.
Item 26.24.16.30 - Panel PPK should be two pieces.
Div. 31 - The concrete sidewalk should be 65.89 cu.m.
This bid bulletin shall form an integral part of the bid documents for the project for
inclusion in the submission of technical and financial proposal.
