Collaborate with 70+ elementary school teachers and administrators


to implement American Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS)
Create a school wide scope and sequence for science education
Aligned the school's use of Full Option Science System (FOSS) Kits
with the NGSS
Guide grade level teaching teams in understanding the core
concepts of the NGSS and creating authentic assessments and
Understanding by Design (UBD) units for science instruction
Co-chair the Science Vertical Alignment Team
Lead small groups of students in grades 3-5 to improve literacy
skills, using Word Work, Guded Reading, Lucy Calkins' Reader's and
