ONLINE COURSES BY BSNL

BSNL is launching a Pan India Online Certification Programme for
students, people working in or seeking jobs in Telecom Sector or those people who
are interested in getting to know the intricacies of this vital infrastructure sector
buzzing with advanced technology. BSNL as a sole witness to the technological
developments in the industry is in a unique position to properly guide the aspirants
and bridge the gap between industry and academics.
In its latest endeavor , BSNL will be organizing 2 month i.e. 8 week
online courses in different disciplines like IP, Networking and Cyber security,
Mobile Communications, Broadband Technology, Optical Fibre systems, Digital
Switching and Transmission Systems and Telecom support infrastructure.
These courses are designed to meet the requirements and expectations of Industry.
Participants will get exposure and deep insight of state of the art labs / live working
equipment which is otherwise impossible. Course material is organized and
structured with focus on practical learning. Hence, participants will be aware of
real working knowledge of Technologies instead of pure theoretical knowledge.
These courses include self study by the students along with week end class room /
on-site hands-on practical training which is designed to involve the trainees in
handling of the equipment. The week end practical session will be conducted on
live equipment worth crores of rupees at Regional Telecom Training Centre,
BSNL, Chennai Telephones, SIDCO Industrial Estate, Periyar Salai, Marai Malai
Nagar and also at some major telecom hubs in Chennai City. Exams will be
conducted during and at the end of the training programme and the students will be
awarded certificates on successful completion of the training. Fee for the 2 month
programme is Rs.5000/- plus taxes. As an inaugural offer, BSNL is offering 20%
discount for the candidates of the first batch starting from 25th February, 2013.
