Present professional position
Assistant General Manager in Specialist Materials & Maintenance Services (SMMS) department
of Engineers India Limited (EIL), New Delhi.
Working as a group-head for metallic material group. Have 22 years of experience in the
field of material selection, material standard preparation, corrosion study, failure analysis,
welding and fabrication related issues of the Chemical Process Industries (CPI) and association
during shutdown activities, inspection and health check-up of the equipment and piping.
Initial experience after graduation
Worked 2 years as a metallurgist in quality control department of the foundry. Quality control
activities were involved from steel melting shop to the final products including casting, heat
treatment, metallurgical testing in the laboratory.
