get them to sit down on their
poly spots.
Set Induction:
Today were going to carry

This is important because in
a basketball game you need
to be able to make shots to
get points.
Lesson Core - Task 1:
Students will be put into
groups of 4 or 5 and sent to
a certain basketball hoop.
There will be poly spots
around the hoop and each
student will be standing on

Students will dribble three

times and then take a shot
straight away so they
incorporate what they did
last week when they learned
how to dribble.

This relates to the students

applying their knowledge of
dribbling to combining it with
shooting.

Demonstration Plan:
I already explained the
COTS and demonstrated
how to do a basketball shot
so my demonstration will be
briefer than on Monday. I
will have a ball, and Ill say
the COTS while I physically
do them.

our feet? (Shoulder
width apart)
Transition
Get the students to pick up
the equipment and bring it to
me. I will then get them to sit
down on the polys pots so we
can start the reflection.
