Adverb Clause of Reason

An Adverb Clause of Reason indicates why the particular action of the verb is taken.
Answers the question why? And is introduced by because, as, since, and for.
Examples:
He sing because he like singing.

In this sentence, why does he like singing has been answered by the adverb clause
because he like singing

He thinks that he can get anything because he is rich.

In this sentence, why does he think that he can get anything has been answered by
the adverb clause because he is rich

Adverb Clause of Result


An Adverb Clause of Result answers the question with what goal/result? And is introduced
by that, so, such.
Examples:
He is such a good man that all respect him.

In this sentence, what is the result of him being a good man has been answered by
the adverb clause that all respect him

He was so weak that he could hardly stand.

In this sentence what is the result of him being weak has been answered by the
adverb clause that he could hardly stand

Adverb Clause of Time


An Adverb Clause of Time shows when something happens.
Answers the question when? And is introduced by when, while, since, as, after, before, until,
as soon as, etc.
Examples:
When you have finished your work, you may go home.

In this sentence the clause when you have finished your work indicated the time
when you will go home

Before you go, bring me some water.

In this sentence the clause before you go indicated the time when you will bring
me some water

Adverb Clause of Place


An Adverb of Place indicates the place about which the verb talks.
Answers the question when? And is introduced by where, and whenever.
Examples:
That is the house where I live in.

In this sentence the adverb clause where I live in indicates the place of my house

That is the place where I was born

In this sentence the adverb clause where I was born indicates my birthplace
