Starting a Business Questionnaire
1. What specific problem does my product or service address?
My product addresses the problem of having too many apps and not enough
resources in those apps. So my product solves that problem by having all the
student resources on one app.
2. What is your proof that the problem exist on a large enough scale to
create a business?
I went to multiple teachers, parents, and students if they have this problem
and they said yes.
3. Describe your ideal customer. (Age, race, color, geographical location,
interest, income level, etc.)
My ideal customer(s) are anybody from 10-40. Any race and color. They can
be anywhere, but they have to access to a school that uses apps. The interest
for anybody under 18 does not matter for my product, but for people 18 up,
if they want to be a teacher or a parent that wants to know all about their
childs school. The ideal jobs for this product is being a teacher or school
administrator.
4. Who is your SPECIFIC target market? (Customer)
Teachers, student 6th grade to 12th grade, and parents that have middle school
going kids.
5. What are 2 assumptions you have made about the problem your
company is addressing?
That the teachers sometimes forget to use some of the apps and the student
sometimes forget their homework.
6. What are 3 assumptions you have made about your target market?
That they forget to use their apps to remind students.
That the students forget to their homework due to constantly changing apps.
Parents end up not knowing their kids grade and homework because there is
so many different apps.
7. Are the assumptions in question 5 and 6 true/false? What is your
evidence?
True. I asked students (Shrisha, Thomas, and Cyril), and teachers (Mrs.
Harper and Mrs. Knight), and finally parents (my mom, and Shrishas mom)
if my assumptions were true and if they have any other problems.
