Restaurant Skit Project
Goal: Write and present a skit in Spanish that takes place in a restaurant with authentic
dishes and menu from a real restaurant in your country.
Group: 4 people (3 people will be the client (cliente) and 1 person will be the waiter
(camarero).
-2 people have to cook an authentic dish from your country and print or write the recipe and
the link to the recipe.
-1 person creates and makes three copies of their restaurants menu for the skit including the
dishes made above and restaurant name. This person will also create the bill (3 separate bills
or 1 all together). The bill should be in your countrys currency and should align with the
prices of the items ordered from the menu.
-1 person types up the script (make sure that grammar and spelling/accents are correct!) and
brings in props for the skit other than plates/silverware such as music for ambiance.
*This is a group effort but you will be graded individually, based on if you have your lines
memorized, if you use vocab appropriately, and your prop.
Directions: You MUST include the following:

-one of the clients must get the attention of the sever and ask him/her for the
menu

-the server will hand them the menus and ask them what they would like

-someone in the group will ask for a recommendation and the server will give one

-someone in the group will ask what drinks they have and the server will respond

-each client must order at least 1 food item and 1 drink

-the server will then repeat back each persons order

-waiter will bring the food and drinks

-each client asks the others what they think about something they ordered and
give each other their opinions of the food

-the waiter asks if that is all and clients can either say no or order more items

-one person needs to ask for the bill

-the server tells them the price of the bill (IN YOUR CURRENCY) and gives it to
them

-the clients pay the bill and leave
