Prior to the regular opening of classes for the school year 2015-2016,

the annual Brigada Eskwela, started May 18 up to 22, was held in every
school to ensure the safety, stability and security of the students.
Day one marked the beginning of the week-long event as the faculty,
students, parents and other volunteers joined the much awaited parade and
opening program held at the school ground of Jose C. Payumo Jr. Memorial
High School. The spirit of unity and camaraderie was fired up as honorable
guests expressed their warm message and support for the said event.
Classrooms were given extra care and notice as the chairs, walls and doors
are repainted on the second day of the Brigada. Some room decors and
bulletins are repaired and furnished; all set up for the coming classes. Our
third day was spent on cleaning and arranging the laboratory apparatus.
Assisting the carpenter in constructing and assembling the cabinet in the
laboratory had been the major task for the whole Science Department. The
next day, all laboratory apparatus were checked and sorted if they were still
functional or not. Also, cabinets in the laboratory were cleaned and repainted
on that very same hour. After the many preparations, arranging the
laboratory apparatus inside the newly- assembled cabinet were initiated by
our fellow teachers. Labeling them were also managed to be done
afterwards.
Indeed, the whole week was of great substance as we could see the
fruits of our hard work and labor out of the five long days. Brigada Eskwela
ended with its closing program held together with all the members of the
Faculty and staff , GPTA and stake holders.
