toinvestmoreabouthowteachersreallyunderstandthebookbydiggingintothetextand
studybeforehe/shecanteachliteracytohis/herstudents.

childrensliterature.Idorecognizethatwearenotgettingenoughdeafwritersinour
publishingmedia.Weneedtopromotethatideaandallowdeafandhardofhearing
peopletoknowtheyarecapableofwritingchildrenbooksiftheyreallywantto.Again,
wedoacknolwegethatdeafandhardofhearingstudentsdogetthemessagefromthe
hearingcommunitythattheyarenotcapableofwritingEnglish.Thatisprobablywhywe
arelackingofdeaforhardofhearingauthorstowritetrueDeafbooks.
