Summary Assignment 1:

So, I just wanted to say that my groups comments on my observation and my first assignment
all together are what made my project so complete. I believe that the advice I received from my
peers was incredibly constructive and it was very helpful in that it opened my mind to new ideas
I hadnt yet thought about. Not only did my peers comment on my assignment one, but I also
given them compliments and suggestions on theirs. I believe this will help make us better
writers, why? Because doing group work and commenting and sharing our ideas opens our eyes
to the opinions of others and this makes us wonder just outside the theoretical box. If you ask me
I believe that the peer workshop and the peer commentary is almost more helpful than a teachers
because we get a perspective from someone who hasnt necessarily read hundreds of scholarly
articles and we dont feel like were being compared to award winning novelists. What I am
trying to get at is I feel like peer suggestions and peer comments are extremely important for any
type of successful project.
