RE: RECOMMENDING THE INTERNALLY DISPLACED PERSONS’ EMPOWERMENT,
RESETTLEMENT AND REHABILITATION INITIATIVE "IDPERRI" PROJECT
Humanity Healing Foundation is a registered international Charity serving in the eastern,
central and northern region of our Country ~ Uganda.
‘Among the projects developed by Humanity Healing Foundation is the “Internally Displaced
Persons’ Empowerment, Resettlement and Rehabilitation Initiative” with an objective of
providing an overall creative alternative that generates an ideal infrastructure for the relocation,
settlement of former internally Displaced Persons of northern Uganda.
“The scope of this project holds as one of the main objectives to diminish the exterior
‘dependencies, as it encourages the creation of a semi- urban , ecologically sustainable
balanced landscapes as independent eco- villages. The Result expected with the.
implementation of the diverse Initiatives contained inside of these projects will be an overall
regional/ National development and the improvement of the general living conditions and
quality of life of all the individuals involved.
‘The Constituency that I represent in the Parliament of the Republic of Uganda, has benefited
from HHF'S support previously advanced to a woman group called * Bakusekka ~ Maja”
through their community garden and woman & family empowerment initiatives with
‘cassava growing as a remedy to fight against hunger and promote food in the region
Indeed, once this project is fully supported, would be an absolute solution to the victims of the
war who are the primary beneficiaries targeted.
‘Therefore, as a government we recommend this project for any support that Humanity Healing Foundation
|s seeking In order to meet the anticipated or desired goal of IDPERRI.
