ORDINANCE NO. 93-030

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 2 OF ORDINANCE NO. 93-028 ENTITLED: AN
ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING AND AUTHORIZING THE GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES
MEDICAL SERVICES (GEMS) FOR ALL NAGA CITY GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES BY
REDEFINING THE TERM NAGA CITY GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES: Author: Hon. Socorro Felix
Be it ordained by the Sangguniang Panlungsod of the City of Naga, that:
SECTION 1. - Section 2 or Ordinance No. 93-028 entitled: An ordinance establishing
and authorizing the Government Employees Medical Services (GEMS) for all Naga City
Government Employees is hereby amended by redefining the term Naga City Government
Employees, now to read as follows:
SECTION 2. - DEFINITION OF TERMS As used in this ordinance:
a.

Naga City Government Employees shall refer to all officials and employees
or personnel (either permanent, casual, or on contractual basis) of the Naga
City Government including all city-authorized and registered volunteer
workers such as but not limited to Barangay Day Care Workers (BDCW),
Barangay Nutrition Scholars (BNS), and supplemental Feeding Volunteers
(SFV) and Barangay Service Point Officers (BSPC); the Naga City
Government Schools in all levels, the Nag City Philippine National Police,
the Nag City Jail Management Bureau, and the Naga City Fire Protection
Bureau;

SECTION 2. - This ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
