Man jailed for violent
crime
A 41-YEAR-old Maryborough man will spend
at least 10 months in
prison after he was
sentenced on charges
including common assault, grievous bodily
harm and wilful damage.
Anthony Graham
Fuller, 41, appeared
before Maryborough
District Court and was
sentenced to three years
and six months in prison.
He will be eligible for
parole in 10 months.
Hospital sale final
stages
A SALE may be looming
for the St Stephens
Maryborough hospital,
with Uniting Care in talks
with the proposed new
owner and operator.

injury
TWO people accused of

for a horse with a broken
leg will appear before
Maryborough Magistrates Court on July 22.

and Candace McLeish
appeared before the
court last week and had
their charges adjourned.
Man charged over
plants
A NUMBER of marijuana
seedlings were found at
the home of a man, 19,
when police visited on
another matter.
Police said they found
the seedlings at 7.45pm
on June 30 at the house
in Gympie Rd, Maryborough.
The man was arrested
and charged with being
in possession of the drug
and was issued with a
notice to appear before
court.
