WATER

Water is widely used as a raw material, ingredient, solvent in the

processing, formulation, and manufacture of pharmaceutical
products
The following waters are typically produced in large volume by a
multiple-unit operation water system and distributed by a piping
system for use at the same site. These particular pharmaceutical
waters must meet the quality attributes as specified in the related
monographs :
-Feed Water
-Purified Water
-Highly Purified Water/HPW)
-Water for Injection/WFI
-Deionized Water

Compress air

In the pharmaceutical industry, compressed air is used for a number of

production and packaging applications, including blowing off and drying
bottles prior to filling, conveying pills, providing air for pneumatically
controlled valves and cylinders, as well as breathing air systems.
