2015/2016 Season

It is always great to see two teams compete against each other with such
enthusiasm. Both LIAM and Tri-M are veterans to the pool and certainly are
at ease in the water. However, Tri-M just seems to out swim LIAM in getting
an early lead which they did not let up throughout the night.
But the LIAM team doesnt worry about the score, they want to swim. In
many races they put the pressure on but it wasnt enough to get those crucial
wins. Tri-M still dominated. We saw an outstanding Senior backstroke race
where the Tri-M swimmer dolphined his way mid-pool and then saw his
arms power through an amazing finish. The relay races were also exciting to
watch as LIAM was on the chase to catch up. The crowd was often on their
feet gasping at every finish.
LIAM is definitely a great team to compete against. They make sure Tri-M
brings their A game and thats exactly what they did. They swam
aggressively fast out scoring LIAM for a third year in a row.
The boys will be off for the Thanksgiving Holiday but are back in the pool
first week of December in preparation for their next meet against last years
champions St. Sebastians (12/4/15). Be there to cheer them on!

Come out and support the Tri-M Boys Swim Team on Friday, December 4,
2015 at Bayside High School located at 32-24 Corporal Kennedy Street
Bayside, NY 11361. $3.00 per person Check-in time 6:30pm. Tri-M proudly
represents the Forest Hills parishes of Our Lady of Mercy and Our Lady
Queen of Martyrs.
